The following information is provided to help explain the type of genetic testing available and what it involves. There are 4 questions to ask yourself when considering testing:
1) To determine if testing is for you, ask yourself what would you do next with the information?
2) Would you do invasive testing?
3) Would termination of pregnancy be a consideration if an abnormal result was confirmed?
4) Would you use testing just to prepare or educate yourself?
